2025 Graduating Class of the Manito Learning Center

Jessa Maria

Your financial and moral support has lifted a heavy burden off the shoulders of many students, freeing us from worries about monthly allowances, thesis expenses, and day-to-day survival as we pursue our chosen path.

I majored in Meteorology and expect to start my career as a scientist/researcher.

Cristine

Your generosity has made a significant impact in helping me complete my studies and pursue my goals.

My goal is to become a licensed agriculturist who can contribute to the improvement of animal health and farm productivity, especially in rural communities. I look forward to serving the Philippines through my work.

Renz

Your generosity has not only opened doors for me but has inspired me to pay it forward — to use my skills and knowledge in ways that uplift others, especially our farmers, whose hard work sustains us all.

Thank you so much for believing in students like me. Your kindness and support have created opportunities that will resonate beyond the classroom and into our communities.

Isabel

I am truly grateful to the Manito Learning Center Need-Based Grants and to everyone behind this program for your critical support.

I am also proud to share that I was able to graduate with Latin honors. I know this achievement was possible because there were people who believed in me and supported me, including all of you. Thanks!

Ruvie

With your support, I was able to focus on my studies, complete my thesis, and march on graduation day with pride. These moments are more than personal milestones—they reflect the opportunities you’ve helped create for students striving to rise above limitations.

My goal is to pass the licensure exam, return to Bicol University as a professor, and help address the shortage of agricultural educators.

Where is Manito?

Philippines_map.289144152_std

Manito is a coastal town in the province of Albay, almost in the center of the Philippine Islands.

Mayon Volcano, over 8,000 feet elevation, is a major tourist attraction in Albay, and can be seen from Manito.

Farming and fishing are the main occupations of the local residents. Many of our students are children of the local farmers and fishermen.
